Pretoria North Community Revitalizes Koos De La Rey Street
Koos De La Rey Street in Pretoria North has been given a much-needed facelift, thanks to a collaborative clean-up effort on May 9.
Led by local residents and the ward councillor, the initiative received strong backing from AfriForum, nearby businesses, and Tshwane’s waste management department. Volunteers rolled up their sleeves to remove litter, trim overgrown vegetation, and bring renewed pride to one of the suburb’s busiest thoroughfares.
This collective effort highlighted the impact of civic unity in creating cleaner, more welcoming public spaces.
