Power outage in Lotus Garden
Yesterday, 20 April – the residents of Lotus Garden suburb, west of Tshwane experienced a power outage at around 20:00.
The City reacted swiftly to this outage incident and established that there was an attempted cable theft at Zebra substation. The suburb is still without power supply, however, our customers in the area are assured that the City’s technical team is onsite attending to the vandalized spot. It is hoped that if repairs go well, power supply will be restored before midnight.
Customers are urged to remain patient during this period and treat all network points as live at all times.
The City apologises to the affected consumers for the inconvenience that has been caused by the outage.
