Tshwane launches a Campaign of No Violence Against Women

Tshwane launches the 16 Days of No Violence Against Women and Children Campaign.
The City of Tshwane in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs will tomorrow,
23 November 2021, launch the 16 Days of No Violence Against Women and Children Campaign
The launch will take a form of a parade by the Tshwane Metro Police Department which will start at Burgers Park and proceed to the Women’s Monument in Lilian Ngoyi Street. The focus will be on rehabilitated male abusers speaking out against gender-based violence and femicide and encouraging others to do the same.
The theme for this year is: Do not protect abusers, report them.
The City of Tshwane’s Chief of Police, Johanna Nkomo will launch the campaign and give the message of support.
