#ProjectWaterDrop – Amazing!
Over the last two weeks we as South Africans took hands, and in collaboration with Jacaranda 94.2, manage to start resolving the water problem that has occurred over the last 2 weeks.
On 22 January Jacaranda 94.2 FM launched the #ProjectWaterDrop initiative to transport and donate water to Lichtenburg in North West, an ares that has been severely affected by the recent drought. By 08:30 that morning they already received 100 000 liters of water. All the water had to be dropped off by Sunday evening 18:00 at the Jacaranda studios in Erands Gardens, Midrand, as they started to load the trucks this morning (25 January) to deliver from tomorrow.
Over the weekend Jacaranda FM opened their offices so that the public, could donate water towards our initiative, #ProjectWaterDrop. The result is incredible!
This is what Jacaranda FM offices look like currently. All thanks to you, citizens of South Africa! Areas affected by the severe drought will be showered with water that has been donated.
Today they will be loading all of the water you can see onto the trucks so that we can transport the water to areas of the North-West. Take a look:
