Possible water interruption to various suburbs of Tshwane
Tshwane’s Water and Sanitation Department will on Tuesday, 30 November 2021, repair a leak on a 1400 mm diameter bulk pipe along January Masilela Drive, east of the City.
The planned repairs might cause an extensive water outage which will affect various suburbs within the City’s jurisdiction, however, all the reservoirs that are serviced by this pipeline will be filled to capacity prior to the shutdown.
This inevitable activity is expected to last for 12 hours, from 08h00 until 18h00.
During this period, residents are urged to use water sparingly to avoid water supply interruption.
