Fijnwyn Newsletter
Cherish Fijnwyn memories and dream about more…
We certainly have experienced unprecedented times recently in terms of the Coronavirus pandemic which has turned our world upside down and forced us to cancel our Fijnwyn Bubbles, which would have been our 21st Fijnwyn and we will have no choice but to cancel the Fijnwyn planned for 01 & 02 May and perhaps more…
Venues, wine farms, food stalls, musicians & event medics are some of the people hardest hit by all of this and everybody will need your support once this passes.
We can ensure you that there will be many more Fijnwyn festivals where we can celebrate and appreciate “togetherness” and #lifeafterlockdown. If there is one thing that Covid 19 has taught us, it is to value these occasions as you never know when they could be taken away from you. Until we meet again treasure this precious time with your loved ones.
Online Shop
We are very excited to launch our online shop.
Visit our website www.fijnwyn.co.za and browse through our products. We are selling our Fijnwyn tasting glasses, wooden boards, hats and even furniture.
We had an amazing photoshoot with Jorietha Rabie Photography and are most excited about our homeware collection which includes table cloths, runners, serviettes and tea towels.
There will be a waiting period of 3 weeks after lockdown so please bear with us. These are great birthday or Christmas gifts or something to spoil yourself with so please support us by shopping now and we will deliver later.
This is new for us so please let us know how you experience it, where we can improve and what you would like to see in our shop.
Fancy Fijnwyn & Bubbles
We were extremely sad to postpone our Fancy Fijnwyn & Bubbles event, only 4 days before it was due to happen. We want to thank all the wine farms & ticket holders for understanding and accepting the new postponed date.
Ticket sales are open for the August dates so feel free to book on www.itickets.co.za.
Competition
The way people think have changed and as much as we would like to think Fijnwyn will just carry on as always we are open to new ideas of how we can adjust to new ways of doing things. If you have some ideas, please send us an email on info@shokran.co.za.
One lucky person will win 2 tickets to attend any of the remaining Fijnwyn festivals in 2020.
Fijnwyn Dates 2020
Nobody knows when we will be back to normal as we know it but there will be #lifeafterlockdown. At this stage we would like to believe that we will be able to celebrate winter with a Fijnwyn and red wines but only time will tell.
