City to conduct outreach to address queries on utility bills
Tomorrow, 26 August until Saturday, 28 August 2021 from 08h30 until 15h00,
the City of Tshwane will be at the Heuweloord Community Centre in Centurion, on a service delivery outreach program. The program forms part of the City of Tshwane’s commitment to fast-track service delivery by tackling residents’ concerns in respect of challenges and/or queries on municipal accounts.
During the 3 days period, officials from the City’s Group Financial Services will assist residents with queries on the following services:
- Meter readings and invoicing
- Property rates
- Credit control and assistance with payment arrangements
- Billing inquiries
- Registration of customers for indigent subsidy benefits customers are urged to have their account numbers at hand when querying their utility bills.
Customers with outstanding debt or accounts in arrears will be required to pay a minimum amount (deposit) recommended by the City to qualify for a monthly repayment arrangement. The deposit can be paid by swiping or tapping your bank card or SASSA card at the speed point available on-site. No cash will be accepted.
After paying the deposit, the period of the monthly repayment arrangement will be processed as agreed upon with the City.
