City of Tshwane call centres operating with limited capacity

In the wake of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s announcement on 23 March 2020 to enforce a nation-wide lockdown for 21 days which took effect on Thursday, 26 March 2020, the City of Tshwane had to close its walk in customer care centres and suspend operations at call centres.
In a bid to ensure provision of essential services, the City has as of today, April 6 2020, opened its call centres to function with a limited capacity. The call centres will operate during working hours from 7h30 until16h00 and services that will be provided include fault reporting on electricity, water services and sewer complaints. However, residents are advised to expect delays in response to calls logged through the call centre due to the limited capacity that the City is operating on.

No account queries, general enquiries or complaints will be attended to during the lockdown period.
Customers can view their account, capture readings and make payments to the City of Tshwane electronically at www.tshwane.gov.za. This service is available all hours of the day. Click on the e-Tshwane link and follow the instructions. No fault reporting will be available on this platform during the lockdown period.
The telephone service (012 358 9999) option 2 provides customers with their latest account balance, their last payment received, and the due date of their next payment.
