Pretoria North Sector 1 CPF Elects New Committee Members

The Pretoria North Sector 1 CPF recently held executive elections, ushering in a fresh team of dedicated individuals ready to serve the community. On September 2, the elections took place in the Pretoria North SAPS boardroom, resulting in Willem Nel being elected as the new Chairperson. Nel, who previously served as the Deputy Chairperson, is excited to take on the new challenge alongside his team.

Public Relations Officer Lebo Moloi emphasized that the election focused on experience and community passion rather than qualifications. “Leading this wonderful community of Pretoria North is a significant responsibility, and our members are eager to make a positive impact,” said Moloi. The newly elected committee members are committed to enhancing community safety, working closely with local police to address incidents such as carjackings, and ensuring the area remains secure, particularly as the festive season approaches.

Pretoria North Sector 2 CPF Welcomes New Leadership

In a parallel development, Pretoria North Sector 2 CPF also elected its new executive committee on September 2, with Oupa Nthite being chosen as the Chairperson. The elections, held at the Pretoria North SAPS boardroom, were marked by the same focus on experience and community dedication as in Sector 1.

Public Relations Officer Lebo Moloi expressed the committee’s commitment to community safety and collaboration with local law enforcement. “Our goal is to keep Pretoria North off the list of top 30 crime areas nationwide,” Moloi stated, emphasizing the importance of early preparation for the upcoming festive season.
