DIRCO in partnership with City of Tshwane to host annual Diplomatic Fun Fair
The Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO), in partnership with the City of Tshwane, will host the Annual Diplomatic Fair on Saturday, 31 October 2015, at the Union Buildings, Pretoria.
As the national executive capital of South Africa, Pretoria is the seat of government and hosts all the foreign embassies and diplomatic missions, including more than 114 foreign embassies and consulates.
The Diplomatic Fair is an annual event through which DIRCO aims, amongst other things, to provide the public with information about countries accredited to South Africa and afford government, business, the diplomatic community and other sectors the opportunity to learn and network.
Foreign diplomatic missions accredited to South Africa are expected to take advantage of the event to showcase and promote cultural diplomacy through arts, music, cuisine, etc.
The event at the Union Buildings Southern Lawns (along Stanza Bopape Street) starts at 09:00 and runs until 18:00. Entrance to the Diplomatic Fun Fair is free.
