Customer Loyalty – key to success
The Hirsch’s Silverlakes store was buzzing with activity recently, as Business People from Pretoria East gathered together for the monthly networking morning.
Guest Speaker, Errol van der Merwe, is a Revenue Performance Specialist who is passionate about helping Companies to create sustainable sales performance and put the necessary building blocks in place to achieve this.
Errol spoke about the importance of creating Customer Loyalty through a positive Customer Experience or ‘CX’. If customers love what you do and how it works for them, they will come back for more. He stressed the fact that, according to a CEI Survey, 86% of buyers will pay more for a better customer experience. It is very important, as an organisation, to ‘map the journey’ of your customers – in other words, identify the ‘moments of truth’ where they will make contact with you. Once these have been determined, it is important to identify any weak spots and work on them in order to ensure that each ‘moment of truth’ is a positive and memorable one. When this happens, our customers will be happy enough to stay willingly.
After the presentation, everyone had an opportunity to present themselves and their business in a 60 second time slot.
