Wonderland 45 is a fishing and picnic resort open for day visitors and camping.
Hours:
Mondays to Thursdays from 06:00 to 18:00
Fridays from 06:00 to 18:00
Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holiday’s from 06:00 to 18:00 (Hours might differ on public holidays).
Wonderland45 offers the following – all included in the daily tariff:
Fishing – 5 dams and the Boschkop river
Carp, Bass, Baber and Tilapia, all these species are catch and release. If the fish was hurt, bleeding, dying or died when caught, the fish need to be taken and paid for.
Tilapia, Bass and Baber is active during the warmer months from October to April.
Carp all year.
Kurper (Tilapia) “Catch and Release” Or buy per Kg.
Trout Fishing is available during the cooler months from April until October. Fly fishing for Trout allows for catch and release and all bait fishing for trout is put and catch – you have to take and pay for the Trout you catch. Trout will be cleaned for you and kept fresh in the freezer until your departure.
Camping and Day Visiting:
Camping – Booking is essential.
25 Grassed campsites with electricity, each with a built braai supplied with a grid, a light and fresh borehole water. All the stands are all next to a dam. Booking in advance is essential.

Day visiting – Booking not necessary.
Picnic spots are available next to the dams, with a built braai supplied with a grid.
The vacant camp stands are available for day visitors too.
Group bookings can be made for example for children’s parties, family gatherings, team building, church groups etc. We offer discounts (certain conditions apply) and we reserve a stand/s for you. Booking is essential
Ablution blocks with hot water, flush toilets, showers, a bathroom and dish washing facilities.
The ablution block is in walking distance from the dams.
Playgrounds and swimming for the kids and young at heart.
Jumping castle
Donkey, Mary, the boerbok goats and emus can be fed in the Animal Farm.
The “Speeldam” (35m x 45m and 1m deep) provides hours of pleasure with the boats and tubes to play with in the dam.
The 5m high swings swinging over the Speeldam – are great fun for young and old.
You are welcome to bring the children’s bicycles with.

The day tariff per person per day for day visitors and camping
R105 Pensioner, 60 years of age and older. Please bring ID or Drivers license as proof?
R140 Adult
R 100 Students (Proof of Card)
R75 High School pupil
R45 Primary School pupil
Pre-schoolers play for free
Special tariff for day visitors arriving after 14:00 only for:
Adults & Pensioner & Students = R80.00
This is not applicable on children, campers or group bookings.
Stands:
Stands: R100 per stand per day for group functions booked for a day and camping.
Day visitor group function bookings must be made and paid in advance as stands are allocated.
During school holidays and long weekends, a minimum booking of 2 days are applicable for camping.
