Community takes stands against Women Abuse
It is D-day @ Kolonnade Retail Park! Initiated by Cupocafe Coffee Bar and Dial-a-Bed a 24Hour bedsitting marathon in aid of Sinoville Crisis Centre, commences at 18:00 this afternoon.
Participants taking a stand again Women Abuse will be sitting on a bed in the PnP Court at Kolonnade Retail Park for 24 Hours.
This event is in aid of the local Sinoville Crisis Centre and their campaign against women abuse to celebrate Women’s Day.
One of the participants will be walking away with a brand new Queen size bed to the value of R9 999 from Dial-a-Bed at the end of the 24Hour marathon on 9 August 2017.
Kolonnade Retail Park is proud of the 15 tenants who bought into this initiative and will be driving the event for 24 Hours together with businesses from the community.
The local CPF will be handing over handbags to Sinoville Crisis Centre at Kolonnade Retail Park at 20:00 tonight; and afterwards an all lady team of CPF volunteers will patrol the community for an hour to commemorate Women’s Day.
