The Tramshed
Trams are an iconic part of South Africa’s history. In 1889 the first tram lines were laid with double-decker trams being introduced later. The trams may be gone, but the modernized Tramshed Mall is a nostalgic reminder of how far South Africa has come.
A historic, part of Pretoria restored, modernized and transformed into a whimsical mall. The Tramshed is a vintage tram depot that has been converted to accommodate a number of stores that cater for every taste while providing a nostalgic atmosphere for those who are fascinated by South Africa’s captivating past.
