The Capital Urban Market, Pretoria
The atmosphere was vibrant at last year’s Capital Urban Market held at the Moyo Fountains Nature Reserve in Groenkloof, before the big move to Menlyn Main.

There were pop up shops galore selling all sorts of lovely goodies like the Roast Re:Public coffee shop that donates all its proceeds to an educational fund called the World Vision Project in Limpopo. Or the Jute Upcycling Studio that designs handbags, cushions and accessories from used coffee bags.
A variety of design and food can draw people of all ages and cultures together …
While some people roamed around buying crafts from the various pop up stores, others sat comfortably on the grass as Glen Hartmann, an Indie Folk musician strummed his guitar making the Sunday afternoon at the Capital Urban Market more blissful.
At the Capital Urban Market I found Pretoria Street Photography that was showcasing amazing images that were captured in the streets of our Jacaranda city. There was also an animal rescue organization called Woodrock Animal Rescue that raises its funds from selling donated books.
