Pretoria is home to many stadiums and arenas suitable for all major sporting events.
Loftus Versfeld Stadium
A rugby and football stadium situated in the suburb of Arcadia with a capacity of 52,000. Loftus hosted the 2009 Currie Cup final, the opening round games of the 2010 FIFA Football and some some matches during the 1995 Rugby World Cup.

Heartfelt Arena
One of the largest indoor event spaces in South Africa. With a capacity of 5,500 for seated events and 10,000 for standing event, the arena is regularly used for concerts, conferences, sporting events as well as weddings and balls. The arena works in conjunction with the Heartfelt Family Church.

SuperSport Park
A venue for the 2003 Cricket World Cup and Indian Premier League 2009, the SuperSport Park is a popular cricket ground in Centurion. The stadium is well-known for its lush, green outfield and large patches of grass that are used as spectator stands.

Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium
A multi-purpose stadium in the township of Atteridgeville with a capacity of 28,900. The stadium was named after a former local soccer player. The stadium is mostly used for football matches and was used as a training venue during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

HM Pitje Stadium
Located in the township of Mamelodi and named after its first mayor. The stadium has a capacity of 25,000 and is mostly used for football matches. The stadium used to be the part-time home of Mamelodi Sundowns.

Pilditch Stadium
A tartan, concrete and grass stadium mainly used for track and field athletics and football matches. The stadium’s capacity exceeds 20,000.

ABSA Tuks Stadium
Stadium of the University of Pretoria. Capacity of 8,000. Home to the university’s official football team, the AmaTuks, for the 2012/13 season.
