Lighthouse Academy

About Lighthouse Academy

Lighthouse Academy is a Home and Distance Education Centre where children can learn and grow in a safe environment.

We have two campuses situated in Pretoria-North (Akasia) and Annlin (Wonderboom) where we accommodate Grade 1 to Grade 12 learners.

The Akasia campus is where the Gr 12’s take the final SACAI exam. We accommodate English and Afrikaans learners.

Our facilitators assist learners in small groups to work through their study material. Most learners use Impaq study material which is based on CAPS – National Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement. We are also registered as a Tutor Centre with Think Digital College.

Homeschooling or home education is an opportunity where learners can discover themselves and grow in their education and personal development. A positive learning environment is created where learners become independent students and take ownership of their academic careers and future.

Our facilitators are equipped to assist learners online which give learners the opportunity for one-on-one communication with a facilitator.
