Guests can relax under shaded seating and picnic areas that cater to both small families and larger groups. Craft beer and gin are available, complemented by live entertainment and special weekly events. Ample and secure parking is provided for both visitors and exhibitors, with convenient disabled parking and sanitary facilities on site.

Shoppers will find a variety of fresh produce and meats at unbeatable prices, alongside delectable treats like olive oil, cheeses, and preserves. Arrive early to make the most of the market’s offerings!

Every Saturday morning will kick off with a My Run between 06.30 to 09.00. This will consist of a 2.5km and 5km single lap, with a beautiful route, mostly on grass and underneath leafy trees…so kids are welcome to bring their cycles and join in the fun!

All you need to do to register for MyRun is click on the following link and purchase your unique Timing Band at a once-off fee of R79.99.

You can then also participate weekly at any of our venues in South Africa at no cost, just arrive and walk/run, it’s that easy.

Activities

Lavender Kontrei Mark provides a family-orientated day out for young and old. Activities range from having a picnic under the leafy trees, enjoying a family-style sit down with soft, background music, to joining in the early run, supporting our quality arts & craft stalls…all this while the small ones enjoy the safe outdoor environment and entertainment.

We offer families and friends a great experience for get-together times while kids can enjoy unique and traditional activities. Tractor, quad trailer, and small pony rides will keep them entertained or playing traditional games on our lush lawns. Watch this space…..as there are great activities and an onsite restaurant in working that will add to the feel of the market!
