Now, they are taking things a step further with the launch of Pantry by Marble, a concept that offers a relaxed yet refined approach to food.

Since opening its flagship location in 2016 in Rosebank’s Keyes Art Mile, Marble Hospitality Group has been setting new standards in the South African food scene. Pantry by Marble was born from this passion for exceptional food, combining convenience with gourmet flair. And now, they’re expanding: at the end of 2025, Pantry by Marble will unveil its first standalone luxury supermarket in Pretoria’s dynamic Hazelwood suburb.

Unlike the bustling 24/7 flagship in Rosebank, the Pretoria store will operate on more traditional hours, offering a slightly different vibe for this new location.

A Fresh Take on Gourmet Convenience

Since its inception in 2022, Pantry by Marble has delighted food lovers by seamlessly merging takeaway, deli, retail, and supermarket services—all tailored to South Africa’s diverse and discerning tastes. Customers can expect to find a curated selection of freshly prepared meals, sandwiches, and salads, along with beloved takeaway staples like pizzas, Prego rolls, and burgers.

Signature offerings will include a soft-serve bar, as well as the popular Donut Wednesdays tradition that’s become a crowd favorite. Patrons will also discover fresh, locally sourced produce, artisanal cheeses, premium cuts of meat, and handcrafted pastries, making it a one-stop-shop for high-end convenience.
