The Design Square in Brooklyn is a popular shopping destination in the eastern suburb of Brooklyn, with a fine selection of exclusive home interior stores and many top-class restaurants and cafés.

Open air spaces and fresh architecture makes the Design Square a popular choice among local Brooklyn residents.

Design Square is adjacent to the Brooklyn Mall through its upper level.

The Square is open Mondays to Fridays from 09:00 to 18:00, Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00 and Sundays from 10:00 to 13:00 – but at its busiest during the evenings when the wide variety of restaurants and coffee shops spoils visitors with a selection of choice and dinner options.

Design Square has its own undercover parking arcade, but visitors can also park in the Brooklyn Mall and visit the Square by foot.

Getting There:

Brooklyn Mall is situated at 309 Veale Street, Nieuw Muckleneuk, Pretoria, 0181.

The nearest Gautrain station is the Hatfield Gautrain Station (GPS S:25°44.859′, E:028°14.280’). When at the station, use your valid Gautrain Gold Card to board the H1 bus. This route’s 5th stop is on the corner of Middle Street and the Brooklyn Circle and its 11th at the corner of Fehrsen and Clark Streets, both of which is a short walking distance from Design Square.
