Whiskey Live Festival
We’ve been looking forward to the Whiskey Live Showroom from the day we found out that Pretoria would play host to an evening of mingling with a glass of whiskey in hand at the new popular spot in town, 012 Central.

The thrill intensified as we got our band passes, our Whiskey Live Festival branded glasses, cards with 15 free points to spend at the various whiskey stands – and there were oodles to choose from.
Each stand had a connoisseur that described whiskey like a beautiful poem rolling smooth off their tongues; similar to the warm aftermath of tasting say the Balvenie 12 year Old Doublewood single malt scotch with two tots of water.
Pretoria’s whiskey sales percentage are at a peak…
Whiskey is a personal experience, no matter what the connoisseur says the aroma or flavour on the palate is. We got our chests warm from Chivas Regal, Balvenie, Peated Malts, The Glenrothes, Glenlivet, Balblair, Ballantine’s Finest, Glen Grant, Black Bottle and from the many brands at the Brandhouse stands among others.
The mood was merry; when the night was over, guests could check their alcohol intake at the Be Wyze Get Breathelized booth and Uber had their services available for those who had a little too much to drink.
FYI- Pretoria’s whiskey sales percentage are at a peak, according to the organiser of the Whiskey Live Festival Emily Stockden, the organiser of the Whiskey Live Festival. Hence the Whiskey Live Festival hosted their first event in Pretoria this year!
