The Stall Night Market
Every last Thursday of the month since 2013, the parking lot at Southdown shopping centre in Irene has been a cool chill out spot for foodies.

With the sunset came an explosion of life as people filled the parking lot enjoying goodies from the 20 stalls offering food, wine, coffee, accessories and vintage clothing at the night market.
The vibe at The Stall Night Market is relaxed; people mingle sitting on pallets eating gourmet food such as a crispy belly pork ciabatta from an urban pop up food restaurant Sprout 360; drinking either wine from Welgemeed, craft beer from Moonshine Bars or coffee from Coffee Café.
One can enjoy a variety of tastes at the food market from Thai cuisine or Indian delights, homemade honey or whole wheat bread from Fullinatural- a bakery baking with locally farmed wheat. In between the eating; shoppers browsed Backyard Vintage clothing or painted their hands and feet with Henna while live music kept the mood warm.
Markets are much more fun because they are crafty, have fresh brands and are a bit arty,” said a group of the Stall Night Market lovers.
