The Dino’s Alive Expo
The Dino’s Alive Expo taking place at the Tshwane Events Centre gave us a pretty fascinating experience of the dinosaur age; our miniature figures would have equaled the size of mice compared to their massive bodies.

So well organised was the expo that we felt as though we were part of the Jurassic Park movie set. Some kids were crying because the dinosaurs looked so real; they were moving, roaring and even breathing. The texture of their bodies complete with scales further created the illusion of their existence in the dark passages re-enacted to look much like a world before human habitation.
Apart from marvelling, visitors of the expo left with knowledge of life preserved stones for example, or that the T-Rex actually means a tyrant lizard and a lot more interesting random facts that the kids are probably going to brag about at school on Monday.
If you were not part of the Dino’s Alive Expo this weekend, fret not because it will be open to the public until the 17th of May 2015.
