Why wouldn’t our feet do that tapping thing when we were blessed with live performances from three stages; one at the Alliance Française de Pretoria, the second along Rivier street and, walking towards Jorissen we heard music coming from the third stage at the Civil Consult.
Musicians on the list included Deon DD-Hondjie Bakkes & the Stolen Horses, FingerPrint5, Lise Chris Band, Lynol Siwela, Wwaves Creative, Stuart Milne, Tea Time, Dembe DeeVah Thakhathi, Sax Machine (International Act), Songbird, Maryb Busi Mutlaka, Oki Doki Cosmic Vagrants, BeatBox Campus, Morayks Reloaded, and The Lectric Monks.
Fête de la Musique is an annual free festival which started in France in 1982, and is celebrated in more than 340 cities around the world; including Johannesburg, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth in South Africa.”
A homeless man sat watching the beauty that is music, another reason to celebrate the healing that is art.
