Heels on Steel 2020 – Ol’ Timers MCC

Despite the covid-19 lockdown, and the high probability that this year’s event might be cancelled after it could not be hosted in August; the Ol’ Timers MCC proved that they dug their heels deep in to the ground and organised a successful Heels on Steel 2020 this past Saturday.
This year’s annual Heels on Steel was held in conjunction with the Portuguese Charity drive at Boschkop, Pretoria East. Most of this year’s participants came dressed in their customary pink attire, celebrating women and proving that the 9th of August does not have to be the only day of the year, we set aside to honor them.
As usual, live entertainment and games kept the crowd amused till late in the afternoon. Prizes were given for “best dressed in pink”,”best dancer of the day”,”best overall spirit of the day” and for biker clubs competing against each other.
Respect to Ol’ Timers MCC for once again bringing people together, making some forget about a hard year we had to endure and hosting an awesome event under pressure!
