CHOC Children’s Fundraising Carnival
When a group of individuals come together for a cause to help others it moves even the coldest of hearts. Sunday the 23rd of October 2016 was well spent at one of the CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation’s fundraising event at the University of Pretoria Sports Campus.
CHOC put together a carnival where kids showed off their entrepreneurial skills selling knitted bears which we are told students from High School Waterkloof knitted especially for the fundraising.
Those with the gift of song, participated in an idols competition, the cutest was seeing a little girl probably aged four singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!
All the proceeds made from all the activities will assist fund parents & children in the Northern Region across the country who cannot afford, transport and accommodation when tending to a child affected by cancer.
