Thousands of bikers have gathered across the country, including Pretoria, for the 36th Annual Toy Run. The Toy Run is one of the largest and longest running charity motorcycling events in South Africa and arguably the world. Motorcyclists opened their hearts by donating toys, stationary, food and gifts for underprivileged children.
This momentous occasion kicked off, bright and early yesterday morning, at the Kolonnade Retail Park. From here, thousands of bikers and race car driver’s alike took to the road in mass ride format, towards the customary Hartbeespoort Holiday Resort.
A sports memorabilia auction was also held, with the proceeds ensuring that there will be bunch of smiles, this festive season. Live entertainment, food stalls, dyno tuning and many more, ensured the success of this event.
Many thanks and respect goes out to all the Marshall’s (for keeping the bikers safe on the road), the Pretoria Biking Council, sponsors and the event organizers, for making a difference to many young lives this Christmas.
“Giving is the master key to success, in all applications of human life.”
