SAM’s Bikers Club had a jol at the “Maranata Sorgsentrum” for Charity!

A biker jol is not just about bikers having a good time…no it is all about bikers coming together for a worthy cause like they did this past Saturday.

The SAM’s Motorcycle Club Mcc hosted a charity event at the “Maranata Sorgsentrum” where about 100 homeless people including children are currently living. This event was all about the guests, the people of “Maranata”, who were spoiled from dawn till sunset.

Two residents, an 85 year old “Lulu” and her husband Martin from the old age section of “Maranata”, crawled deep into my heart.

Christmas came early at “Maranata”, as each and every person received food and blankets, while the children were each blessed with a toy and some sweet treats. The Club members, under the firm ruling of their President “Jannie”, managed to bring a smile to everyone’s faces. The Club members offered hair- cut, make- up and manicure services and gave out personalised handmade gifts to the residents. Heather, the “Function Fairy” did a marvellous job in arranging yet another successful and heart touching event. “Oom Daan” (owner of “Maranata”, a Non-profitable organisation), we can only thank our Heavenly Father, for people with big and warm hearts like you!
