Rainbow, rain…o what a colourful mess @ the Color Run!
Nor the rain nor the cold weather in Pretoria, could stop the brave participants of the Color Run 2016 (part of the Rainbow Tour) which took place this past Saturday, to have some crazy burst of color covered fun!
Loftus Versfeld is synonym to the colour blue, but all that changed when a rainbow of spectacular colours, appeared in and around the stadium. It is no wonder they refer to the participants as the “Color Runners” and the Color Run as the “Happiest 5K on the Planet”.
Runners from all ages and walks of life took off from the starting line in white shirts, but it was not too long before they were all decorated with a rainbow of colours from head to toe at the four different colour zones throughout the race.
The fun continued after the race with the unforgettable Finish Festival. Color Runners jumped up and down and danced to music while getting doused with massive colour throws. This created vivid colour combinations with an intense and exhilarating vibe among all.
The Color Run is not only a fun run, it is “Hope” run that raise donations for more than 80 local and national charities since 2012.
