MTE ready for 2020
Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE) is ready to start 2020 off with a bang with two high impact exhibitions in Bronkhorstspruit and Cullinan.
Bronkhorstspruit will be lucky number one for 2020 as the first show will be hosted on 11 February 2020. Between 12:00 and 16:30, the Chilwavhusiku Colliery Main Office will be a hive of activity as visitors and exhibitors will be interacting with each other during the expo. This show will see the travelling exhibition return following the first show in 2019 – which was very successful. The positive feedback and support encouraged MTE to return to the area for another great showcase.
There are various mines in Bronkhorstspruit in addition to the Chilwavhusiku Colliery – a coal mine that became operational in the last quarter of 2017. Other mines include the Khanye Colliery and Palesa mine. All these mine operations present many opportunities for suppliers with products and services suitable for coal mining.
Visitors can expect to see experts from the following areas:
- Motor protection and control technology
- Manufacturer and OEM of RNE vertical spindle pumps and all steel motors for mining, chemical plant and slurry applications
- Conveyor Belt Tracking Rollers, Scrapers, Skirting Rubber, Safety Roller Guards & Impact Beds
- Cable Gland Manufacturers and trainers
After the Bronkhorstspruit expo, the MTE team will move on to the Cullinan expo on 13 February 2020 for the second show in the month. The show is scheduled to take place at the Cullinan Community Sports Centre from 13:00 to 17:00.
Suppliers in the diamond mining industry would definitely want to be part of this show because MTE has customised it specifically for the diamond mining industry. This means that suppliers are most likely to see exhibitors interested in diamond mining products and services.
Visitors can expect to see experts from the following areas:
- Hydraulic hoses and connectors
- Motor protection and control technology
- Manufacturer and OEM of RNE vertical spindle pumps and all steel motors for mining, chemical plant and slurry applications
- Conveyor Belt Tracking Rollers, Scrapers, Skirting Rubber, Safety Roller Guards & Impact Beds
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics Automation solutions
- Hydraulic and electromechanical services
- Diesel rebate in mining/quarry, farming, forestry and offshore
What’s in it for the exhibitors?
Exhibitors get to have face to face interactions with mine personnel including senior management. This puts exhibitors in a perfect position to find out what the mine’s needs are and how they can assist. In addition, exhibitors are also able to showcase their offerings to the correct personnel. Apart from establishing a new client base, exhibitors will also meet existing clients — enabling exhibitors to find out how products or services can help them with any problems they may have.
What about the visitors?
Visitors can get around to many suppliers in a single location. The MTE team customises the exhibitions to ensure that the shows caters to the needs of the surrounding operations. Another exciting value add for visitors is that they get front row seats to the latest technology and innovation — including demos — in relevant fields.
Ultimately this MTE show will benefit both exhibitors and visitors because buyers and suppliers will conveniently be brought together in a mutual location. This creates endless opportunities for business to be generated and potentially fruitful relationships to be established.
MTE travelling exhibitions has – for over two decades – hosted these unique expos around Southern Africa for suppliers of top-of-the-line mining equipment to showcase their goods to a community hungry for the latest technology, services and information.
