Menlyn Maine Young Entrepreneurs Market open for business
Look out for their T shirt brand, Mood Stroke, which will be selling at the Young Entrepreneurs Market on 25 August.
Bookings are open for the Young Entrepreneurs Market to be held at Menlyn Maine (on the lawn between Central Square and Sun Time Square) on Saturday 25 August 2018.
The market has been launched to encourage business and life skills amongst children – and to assist them to earn some pocket money. Enterprising young people are invited to book their 3×3 metre stand and launch their products. Apart from learning how to become entrepreneurs, entrants also stand to win awards for Most Innovative Product Stand and Best Stand for Visual Appeal, Signage, Staff Attitude, Dress, Product Display and Price.
All learners and schools in the greater Tshwane area are invited to participate.
Other spot prizes will also be on offer on the day. Set-up for the show starts at 7:00, while visitors are invited to arrive between 10:00 and 15:00. The cost of a stand only is R 150, while a stand plus a table and a chair will set entrepreneurs back R 200. Each stand-holder also gets a complementary parking ticket. Free access for visitors.
The stands will be demarcated with a safe picket fence, and there will be a kids entertainment area as well as food stalls and a pause area. Light entertainment will be provided and the Bounce Vibe Tribe rig will also be on site.
The show will be used as an opportunity to participate in the WOOF Project which assists people to adopt a rescue dog.
