2. Join ShowMe by filling in your details and clicking on the red “Sign Up!” button at the bottom of the page. If your email address is already registered and you forgot your password, click on the blue “Lost Password?” link and follow the prompts to reset your password.
3. You will receive an email confirming your sign-up. Please click on the confirmation link provided in the email.
4. Go back to our Control Panel, and login to the site using the Username and Password as chosen by you during the sign-up, and as stated in the confirmation email.
5. When logged into the site, click on the “Add a Local Event to get it listed on ShowMe” in the Control Panel:

6. Add the details of your event. When you have added all the details of the event, click on the red “Add Event” button at the bottom of the screen. You will receive an email confirming your submission.
7. Your event will be moderated and published by the office. Please note your event will not be visible to the public until it has been moderated and published.

Tip: Preparation is key.

1. Open an existing event on ShowMe Pretoria to see what information is needed.
2. Prepare the description of your event in a text document.
3. Choose a suitable image for your event. Recommended image sizes: Main event image: 640 x 480 pixels; thumbnail image: 65 x 65 pixels.
4. Use our cropping tool in the Control Panel menu to crop your images if necessary.
