See below for viewing times as the Eastern Cape will feature on CNN International this weekend & next week.
About the show:
Each week, Inside Africa highlights the true diversity of the continent as seen through the prism of different cultures and religions and the mediums of art, music, travel and literature. This week the focus is on the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. From the beach to the buffalo and other wildlife, the Eastern Cape province has most of South Africa’s tourists attractions in one location. This week on Inside Africa we explore the rich diversity of the Eastern Cape. We look at the Xhosa traditions and how it inspired one Xhosa man to become a knitwear designer. The Eastern Cape is also famous for Mohair, a luxurious textile similar to cashmere, and we take a look at how it’s made. Lastly we visit a anti-rhino poaching unit in the province to find out if the poaching war can be won.
