THE GOLF COURSE

The PEGC has two nines of equal par 36 for a total of par 72. The club’s Eastern Province golf rating is, however, 71 for the 6,117m layout. The fairways are lined with trees and natural shrubs and the layout presents a formidable challenge. There is a large lake on the right of the par-5 8th hole as well as a lake guarding the right side of the short par-3 17th hole. 

THE CLUBHOUSE

The spacious clubhouse provides a warm welcome to both members and visitors alike, catering for small or large groups of golfers, tour groups, corporate golf and tournaments, conferences, weddings and more. We have 3 different venues you can choose from to hire, varying in size from 20 people to 200 people.

We have been privileged to be chosen to host both the SA Men Premier IPT as well as the SA Ladies IPT events at our Club which confirms the Port Elizabeth Golf Course as a preferred venue for such high calibre tournaments.

VENUE HIRE

With picturesque views leading out over our golf course, we are the ideal venue for you to get away from the hustle and bustle of town. We also offer world class on-site catering, which makes this an ideal venue for your next conference, seminar or product launch. Our function rooms can provide for most occasions from an 8 person board meeting to a 120 guest wedding reception.

Please note the Club is not an exclusive venue. The patios adjoining the venues are not included in the venue hire and even though they may be used by guests during your event it is considered a general club area.

CATERING FOR YOUR EVENT

Port Elizabeth Golf Club can cater for just about all your requirements and for any kind of function, from company launches to weddings etc. We can cater from 10 people right up to 200 people and have it buffet style or plated.
