Trauma Counselling
Gardmed has realised the need for us to be a more holistic emergency service. By moving beyond the notion that we simply transport patients, we have felt the need to broaden our offering to patients and their families to include aspects like trauma support and counselling. Gardmed has now partnered with a local therapist to give patients and their families support and trauma counselling. Our trained counsellor has dealt with countless individuals who have faced highly traumatic, life threatening events, from shark attack victims to gun-in-the-face robbery and assault, to those who have experienced motor accidents and those who have gone through the pain of losing friends and family members.
Please note this is a private service and is not affiliated with your medical aid.
