Villa Tuscana by Mantis re-opens its doors
The Mantis Collection celebrated Tourism Month with the spectacular opening of Villa Tuscana by Mantis.
Villa Tuscana stands gracious and tall on Erasmus Drive in Summerstrand, with a charming façade reminiscent of a Tuscan country side villa. Swedish businessman, Kenneth Wåhlberg, fell in love with this hotel while vacationing in Port Elizabeth 5 years ago and embarked on the journey of acquiring it, and then restoring the building and renovating interiors in partnership with The Mantis Collection.
Kenneth’s vision for Villa Tuscana is to offer locals and visitors to Port Elizabeth luxurious comfort, exclusive social spaces, efficient business services, and unfussy dishes created to satisfy even the most sophisticated of pallets. There is a 12-seater boardroom where clients can have private meetings, small conferences, and private fine-dining experiences. In-house guests will also have access to exclusive secretarial services, as our aim is to make the business person’s stay that much more effective.
The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinners and works as a great break away space for a working lunch or business meeting. There is a vibrant pool area for al fresco dining, relaxation, or a fun cocktail party.
Villa Tuscana suites and rooms have been redone with a calm colour pallet, modern furnishings in light wood and vibrant Tuscan accents. The 8 Superior Suites and 4 Studio Rooms have been designed to offer a comfortable retreat at the end of a busy day of work or play. Managed by Mantis Collection, Villa Tuscana is set to offer the best service, facilities, and hospitality according to the high standards Mantis is known for. The new general manager, Tanya van Vuuren has many years of experience and will be guiding the team at Villa Tuscana.
For business or leisure, we invite you to meet, eat and sleep at Villa Tuscana by Mantis.
