Stinkhoutkloof Forest Trail
Description
Most hikers will recognize the Otter Trail in Tsitsikamma as being one of the top hiking trails in South Africa and indeed the world. In the same area as the Otter Trail are a number of beautiful trails of varying lengths that are well worth exploring. If you lucky enough to be visiting the area take the time out of your schedule to walk this beautiful little trail, no need to book.
The trail follows a forestry road for about 2 km before crossing the highway and descending down a steep path into the indigenous forest. There are many river crossings and the water is refreshing despite the tea brown colour from the tannin.
