Raptor Rescue Plett
Raptor Rescue Plettenberg Bay
Is a rehabilitation and awareness center dedicated to birds of prey.
“We educate the public through informative guided tours and flying demonstrations through which we promote awareness about raptor species and the conservation risks they face.”
Our rehabilitation work is predominantly funded through admissions to the center and your support in visiting us is greatly appreciated.
Join us on a 1 hour guided tour of the center, where you will learn about our resident birds as well as experience some of our trained birds demonstrating their skills in our open-air flying area.
We have a variety of birds, from our smallest the Southern White-faced owls to our largest the Black or Verreaux’s Eagle. We cover a wide range of topics that include conservation, habitat, and diet, tours are educational yet fun ensuring that your and your children’s attention and imagination are captured.
