Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could can go back into the past and redress the inequalities?
Lunchbox Theatre offer caring people a unique way to help the descendants of those who were hurt during the Apartheid Years.
After 10 years of existence it is probably likely that, as a local, you will have seen or heard about one of Lunchbox Theatre’s Live Theatre Shows? Maybe the Last Drop or What a Waste Show? A Dog’s Life? Or Dream, the latest show which addresses potential child abductions?
However, did you know that Lunchbox Theatre also have a team of Facilitators who give free after school classes to children in disadvantaged areas?
The kids in the community relish the opportunity to learn about art, traditional and contemporary dance and acting. These classes make a world of difference to the children and their ability to function more effectively in life. However, we need to pay our accomplished facilitators. So, the more donations we receive the more kids we can assist.
No one in our Circle of Givers would ever deliberately hurt a child. However, social engineering did hurt many people. We do receive some funding from the Stephan Rolf Nusbaum Foundation however we are appealing to any enlightened and caring people to help us ‘pay it forward” with a comfortable monthly donation. Join us as we help the upcoming generation before they take up their roles as adults in our new and improved South Africa.
