WATCH: Freedom for penguins before lockdown
Just before lockdown, Nature’s Valley Trust managed to assist the incredible team from Tenikwa Wildlife Rehabilitation and Awareness Centre in releasing 12 gorgeous African Penguins that had gone through extensive rehabilitation and were ready for release back into the big blue.
Well done to Tenikwa and the team at Robberg Veterinary Clinic for another excellent rehab job.
Sadly, we were unable to have a public release on such short notice, but hopefully, you can all enjoy this short video of how well it went!
We hope this brightens up your day!
Please remember there is a drive to collect funds to continue this amazing work – please message us for details. You deposit funds directly into a ring-fenced account at Robberg Fine Foods and it is used to buy fish for seabirds in rehab at Tenikwa.
