Great Tennis Club finished in second place

Great Tennis Club finished in second place at the national Top Guns tournament in Sun City.

This past long weekend, the 14 regional club winners and two wildcards from each district or province competed in the national club finals.

It was the second time that Great Tennis represented Eden. Two years ago they reached fifth place, which was the best result any Eden team has ever accomplished at this prestigious event.

“Reaching the finals this year is a phenomenal achievement and we are unbelievably proud of our team,” said a spokesperson.

Drikus de Jager, a Grade 12 pupil, has been coached by Eduard Steyls since the age of five.
