June is not Gloom at Offthehook Seafood Café we have some great seafood for you to keep you warm and happy.
We have started “Paella Wednesday” for R 50. Yes, 50 SA Rand for some very delicious seafood paella.
Our “Eat at home” NOT take-away is working and making people feel better that they are not eating “junk food!” Thank you all for all your loyal support during the year.
Louise and Patty Butterworth along with the Plett Restaurant Association are putting together a night to remember “A Taste of Plett.” It is on Wednesday the 4 July at the Whitehouse. All restaurants have an opportunity to show off their meals to 300 guests. It is going to be a night to remember and not to be missed.

The Offthehook Adventure Series
It is only a few days to go to the next Offthehook Adventure Series race on the 16 June 2012.
The “Le Rude route” is designed by semi-professional sportsman Stef “aka the legend” Le Roux.
Venue: Offthehook Seafood Café
Date: Saturday 16 June 2012 Start: 8:30 am
Finish: Offthehook Seafood Café
Distance: 5 km Run, 20 km cycle, 2.5km run
Entry: R 60 (includes Burger, coke, water and a donation to Lunch Box Theatre)
There will be no safety on the course and there will be no water points. So I recommend bringing your mobile, iPhone, Samsung, Nokia, Blueberry anything that you can use in case of an emergency.
The course will be explained to you on race day, yes I know you like to know the course, however Stef will help explain where to go……on the day…A little something to look forward to…
The Wedge Classic
It is our great privilege to announce that Offthehook Events has been granted the Wedge Classic 2012.
The event is taking place from the 5 July to 7 July and the briefing will be on the 4 July 2012 at 5:00pm (sharp) at Offthehook Seafood Café. It is a Bodyboarding event and it is longest standing Bodyboarding event in South Africa.
It was started by Doug Cockwell, Neal Stephenson, Pat Harris and I in 1996. Robberg Fine Foods was the original sponsor and for 2012 are sponsoring again! Thanks Dad and Blaine for the support!
We have received support from the Bitou Municipality, Plettenberg Bay Tourism, Robberg Fine Foods, The Surf Shop, Rossi Bodyboard’s, Offthehook Seafood Café and The Table Restaurant It is a great event during the July holiday and even more reason to come to Plettenberg Bay and eat at Offthehook seafood Café.
