News from Tshisa Talent
Tshisa Talent held a professional development workshop for our 2012 finalists.
The aim for this course was to provide professional development for these up and coming Tshisa Talent artists by assisting them learn how to market themselves, using the marketing tools and opportunities that have been given by Tshisa Talent and to develop their general business management skills including planning and financial management skills.
The course was expertly facilitated by Kim Weyer and held at the Bayview Hotel on the 7th & 21st July.
Some feedback and accomplishment from a few of our Tshisa Talent Finalists who attended the course:
Louisa Harker, winner of Tshisa Talent Finals 2012, has joined a young band in her community and together they have created a vision for their band. Louisa also met with the photographer to plan her photo-shoot and the designer to design her business cards & website. She has also started her vocal lessons at Plett Music Academy.
BCUCC Choir they created an action plan for their next three performances and tasks were delegated among several members of the choir.
The girls from Unexpected worked with their dance group to complete an action plan for a dance competition they will host in New Horizon.
Andre the Beat Boxer has created a personal vision, set short, medium and long-term goals. He has also designed his business card which ready for printing.
