Bitou 10 Foundation – Plett Fringe Festival
The Bitou 10 Foundation has arranged to bring participants of the Bitou 10 Drama Programme, offered weekly at Bitou schools, to see a play at the Plett Fringe Festival. Drama students from Phakamisani Primary will be seeing “Memory” at 15h00 on Sunday, 29 June 2014 and drama students from Plettenberg Bay Secondary School will be seeing “Dirt” at 20h00 on the Sunday, 29 June 2014. Drama students will be accompanied by their drama facilitator and a teacher from their school.
The Plett Fringe Festival provides us with the opportunity to expose students from disadvantaged backgrounds to a real theatre experience. This will be the first time some of these learners see a live play performed by professional actors.
The Bitou 10 Foundation would like to thank Ann Fermor, the organiser of the Plett Fringe Festival, for giving us block bookings at a discounted rate for participants of our Drama Programme.
