New Art at Old Nick during the Plett Arts Festival 2019
Old Nick Village and Plett Tourism celebrate local art with their New Art @ Old Nick Exhibition featuring local artists Donne Rundle, Anne Clarke, Carol Sachs, Jonathan Davis, Dorothe Bekker, Juliet Goddard and Caroline Tine and sculptor Chip Snaddon.
OId Nick Village warmly invites you an exhibition of seven of Plett’s contemporary artists, aptly named “New Art @ Old Nick”, as part of the Plett ARTS Festival.
As each artist explores their inner identity, the viewer Is offered the opportunity to perceive it through their own unique perspective. From abstract art to photography, watercolour to digital, we celebrate the artists’ singular authenticity. Experience various art processes exploring ancient rituals and belief systems, stormy seas and misty autumn scenes, the curious connection between the past and the otherworldly, our universal connectivity and free-spirited emancipation.
The exhibition will be in the Old Museum, the Passage Gallery and the entrance of Mungo Mill, inviting visitors to stroll around the village and enjoy our tranquil gardens and the newest sculpture by Chip Snaddon.
