Family Festivities at Garden Roots: Christmas fever hits Plett
Featuring SAMA-winning musicians, a petting zoo, Santa on Stilts and more
Plettenberg Bay, 15 December – Plettenberg Bay’s holidaymakers are invited to the lawns of Sunera Estate in Roodefontein stud farm for a day of award-winning music and a huge variety of kids entertainment paired with delicious food and drink for the whole family.
Featuring celebrated SA alt-rock bands Prime Circle and WonderBoom, award-winning blues artist Albert Frost, well-loved Plett singer and guitarist Sam Hartman and more, Garden Roots Carnival has something to delight every kind of music-lover. The on-stage action is non-stop – stand the chance to be one of the first to hear South Africa’s next big artists at the Garden Roots talent show or busking on Sunera’s sprawling grounds.
Santa on Stilts, a petting zoo, puppet shows and pony rides are just a few of the fantastic activities on offer for kids. Jumping castles, magicians and face-painting are also on the line-up with all activities included in the ticket price and a huge area for kids to play freely.
With lots to see, do and listen to, and plenty of food and drink on offer, there’s no reason not to stay all day and experience the magic. Enjoy delicious craft beer, fully stocked bars and street food stalls that will be firing up the grill all day. A variety of unique handmade goods from local artisans are ready to help you tick a few Christmas gifts off the list, or treat yourself to something totally one-of-a-kind.
