5 Reasons to get excited about Plett Wine & Bubbly Festival 2017
Don’t miss a Plett weekend dedicated to the finer things in life, all wrapped up for you at the sun-drenched and sparkling Central Beach in Plettenberg Bay.
Book your tickets now for Plett’s fourth festival dedicated to wine, bubbles and the finer things in life. Wear something sexy, like a smile. Experience the blue skies, chin-chin and make seaside memories.
Here are five reasons we feel you really shouldn’t miss the Plett Wine & Bubbly Festival this year:
1. The festival is on Plett’s Central Beach
The Festival takes place on the edge of Plett’s popular Central Beach, one of the most beautiful in the country. With spectacular backdrop views across the bay of Robberg and the Tsitsikamma Mountains, it’s a unique opportunity to experience boutique wines from the region.
2. Plett’s award-winning wines
Relatively new to the wine industry, Plett’s first vineyards were planted 15 years ago. You can taste the products from nine of Plett’s wine farms at the Festival – Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Rosé and plenty of Méthode Cap Classique. You can chat to the wine makers and taste their award winning wines at the Festival.
3. Tastes of Plett
What would good wine and bubbly be without delicious food? The Festival pairs some of Plett’s most iconic restaurants to bring a truly Plett taste sensation to the festival. Eat local and drink local with artisan cheeses, charcuterie and bread, sushi, savouries and of course – beautiful, succulent cultivated oysters.
4. Swirl, Sip & Savour at the Plett Wine Theatre
Join us on the Sunday for 3 information-filled sessions with our Wine Guest of Honours; Pieter Ferriera “Mr Bubbles” from Graham Beck Wines and wine columnist and enthusiast Peter Bishop “Pee Bee” for some exciting wine tastings and lessons in getting all the best out of wine.
5. Live Entertainment
Homegrown artists DJ Jazztrain, Rumour Has It and Breezn will be ready to impress and Headliner acts Charlie Finch and Gerald Clarke are sure to keep you rocking.
Visit the festival page, follow us on Facebook or phone +27 (0)44 533 4065.
