PAWS ORPHANS
Paws Orphans are looking for their new families…
Please remind your colleagues and employees of the need to keep their pets warm and dry. Kennels, blankets, pet beds, old mattresses, and pillows are all useful for our animals as they are surprisingly quickly worn out. We also give them to people who have proved that they are responsible pet owners but can not afford to buy these items.
Cats….
Adult ginger female Ella is a friendly girl.

Handsome tabby and white boy Magic might have found a home by the time you get this. Hold thumbs!

At 4 months old, our little tabby boy is still waiting, as are little brother and sister

Rudi Red is a big boy who still needs a home.

Dogs…
Tracy 083 287 9917 can tell you all about a really handsome boy who needs a home. You can drop in and see him too. He’s 1-2 years old, athletic, socialised, and affectionate. Not heavily built but on the larger side. Unfortunately, he cannot be displayed on social media, but please tell friends about him.
Brown-lee is a medium-sized girl of about 2 years. She’s sweet-natured, well socialised and easy to handle.

Little Didi was adopted from us in 2014. Now 9, her home life has been seriously disrupted. Didi needs to feel safe again. She’s a calm girl in good health who just needs to be loved. She’s used to living in a family home with other dogs.

Our adoption fee is R800. This includes home check, sterilization at the appropriate age, (which is compulsory), microchipping, all vet bills and treatment before adoption, all essential vaccinations, deworming, and tick/flea treatment up to date of adoption.
We are trying to vaccinate as many township animals as we can, due to the recent alarming increase in parvovirus and. distemper in township dogs. If you can help towards the cost of this please do so. Any amount will be gratefully received as, although we promote responsible pet ownership, we are not going to turn away anyone who can’t afford the nominal fee we charge. Our banking details- ABSA account 9093019538, branch code 632005, reference “vaccination”, P. O. P to dbutlin@gbw.co.za.
As always, we would be very grateful for pet bedding, old blankets, and towels, collars and leashes, food bowls, toys, treats as well as food, for our kennel animals as well as those of responsible and caring owners battling to afford to keep their pets in these difficult times. Please note, we will not take over responsibility for providing for people’s pets. We do, however, reward responsible ownership with greatly discounted health care and gifts of pet necessities.
