Why Support Us?
FAMSA believes healthy, functional families contribute to a healthy community.
Families are facing so many challenges today:
• Domestic violence
• Substance abuse
• Gambling
• Crime
• Unemployment
• Illness and death all contribute to feelings of fear, anger and hopelessness.
FAMSA offers a safe, confidential environment where people can be assisted with the challenges that life sometimes throws at them.

Give us Your Time
• FAMSA is largely dependant on volunteers in the community to offer our counselling and support services. Our various community projects also need volunteers.
• We offer the necessary training.
• Please contact us.
As we offer counselling and support services, we rely on volunteers and funding to continue our work in the community.
Here is our Director’s wish list:
We wish that people realize:
• how many cases of abuse against women, children and animals we prevent.
• how many clients are prevented from committing murder or attempting suicide.
• how many marriages and relationships we have saved .
• how many families have been reconciled.
• how many individuals we assist to become positive members of families and
communities.
• how many trainees and other individuals learn wonderful life-skills that they can apply on a daily basis.
• how many businesses have improved as a result of positive management and staff.
We wish that:
• funders will realize the invaluable work we do and feel strongly motivated to assist us.
• we could effectively express our gratitude to those that support us.
