The Plett Fringe Festival 2015 – Incredible talent!
The Fringe festival for 2015 did not disappoint!
An entire weekend filled with talent, dance, laughter and even time travel had the audience captivated.
Take a look at the images below of some of the shows that were performed as well as the beautiful and excited audience:
Undermined:
The true story tells of one man with a remarkable gift, not an unmixed blessing. Through song and spellbinding storytelling we follow Madlebe as he leaves Mozambique for the mines of Jozi.
A joyous production of hope, persistence and an unexpected hero, this is storytelling at its most exciting – you felt as if you were part of the story.
Bar none:
Bar None tells the funny yet poignant story of a family who has run a bar in New York city for decades. With incredible music the audience was led through time with memorable songs, such as: Mr Bojangles, Baby It’s Cold Outside, I Got Rhythm, Piano Man and many more that brought tears to many eyes.
Big Boys II:
All eyes were on the insanely talented dancers Ash and Brad Searle last night. Not only was the dancing outstanding, but the comedy had the majority in stitches. What sets these two apart from other dance entertainers is their versatility and their down-to-earth style. What an amazing show!
The excited audience ready to be entertained:
If you missed these acts – don’t worry – they will all be performing at the Grahamstown art festival from the 6th – 12th July!
